Welcoming 2009
Two days to go and hello 2009!  Time really flies so fast. This year has been great despite all the pains and dramas.. All I can say is that everything that is happening with our lives has a purpose. So live well, and laugh often. Having problems? Laugh it off or else they will make you sick!  So many things happened in 2008 - happy moments, unexpected circumstances, unbelievable discoveries, disappointing realities...etc...but I am grateful for all that. There were also a lot of lessons learned, and received countless of blessings! God is really good for He has been there for me all along. Before the year ends, I would like to thank all the people who have been a part of my 2008: To my friends in HS and college, thanks for all the fun and laughter on our gimiks. It's always been the best! To my colleagues and friends, you guys rock my world despite the thousands of work load that we needed to work on over time...Well, we still know how to have some fun! Yeah! To my new found friends at KC, it was really a pleasure meeting all of you. Really blessed to be part of this. One of the best things that happened to me coz I have seen how great the kids are- witnessing how they grow spiritually, getting closer to God. I am sure that they will be great leaders of our next generation. To my U! Foundation family, every event that we've had was really the best, and nothing can top the way I felt during those times. I just thank God for having you guys coz you are the awesome-st! I just love you all! All the events that we've had for the past 2 years sure makes our day sooo FAB! Reaching out to the less fortunate ones really gives us the feeling of incomparable joy!To my fam, I am always grateful for having you. I love you! Thank you Lord God Almighty for all the blessings you have showered upon us this year and may the year 2009 bring us wealth, joy, happiness, peace, and love. Is 2009 my lucky year?;)
According to the "experts," 2009 will be a lucky year for those who were born in the year of the PIG. Well, if that's really true, good for me! hahaha! Does that mean, I might have a love life next year? hahahahahahahahahahaha!!!!  Anyway, speaking of which.....I believe that things will fall at the right place and time. Only God knows....If it's meant to happen, then it will happen. What's important is how you enjoy and live your life at the present. You just have to have FAITH! You don't actually look for love coz it will come. Love was a bit complicated for me before, but all I can say is that I am thankful coz these things helped me to become a better person; I have learned a lot... I have taken a lot of risks and chances already...well...there were really some obvious reasons why it didn't work out....so ya....hmmmkei... let me end this up with a quote. I posted this before but for those who haven't read it yet, here y'go: Take chances. Take a lot of them. Because honestly, no matter where you end up and with whom, it always ends up just the way it should be. Your mistakes make who you are. You learn to grow with each choice you make. A Walk to Remember
Love is patient and kind. Love is not jealous or boastful or proud or rude. It does not demand its own way. It is not irritable, and it keeps no record of being wronged. It does not rejoice about injustice but rejoices whenever the truth wins out. 1 Corinthians 13:4-6 I watched A Walk to Remember for the nth time. I just love that movie. It shows what true love really means. Though, it's so much better when you read the book. Anyway, I really don't have anything to blog about. I just type whatever pops my mind. So okay...actually, I'm pretty tired from work today - had my overtime. Well, good thing my time is back to 8:30am again. Gollyness, my schedule this December is pretty loaded. haha! But I am so thrilled.  I'm just enjoying every moment! Toodles! |

Similar to anyone, I had made mistakes in my life which somehow I didn't regret perpetrating. I was once young, incautious and fragile, but now I can say that I have learned countless things in life. I have been drowned, buried but I managed to outlive. I don't believe in getting even. I enjoy the feeling of facing the people who hurt you without being remorseful. I easily forgive but sometimes I feel like I am getting tired of forgiving, but I always keep in mind that there is always a reason for everything that's happening to us. And when we feel the state of melancholy, think of the blissful moments we've experienced.:) I greatly enjoy meeting new people. I love to love and be loved in return (the feeling is just GREAT!). I love to hug, it just makes me feel at ease and secured. I eat a lot (I know it doesn't show on my figure.hehe.;)) More importantly, I love God above all. I always put God at the center. I just owe Him my life. He has blessed me with so many things and He still is. I'm really thankful.Of course, I greatly love my family. My family is my NO.1 source of happiness. I get my strength from them. They are just always there to help me in everything. They made me a better person, and if it wasn't for them, I wouldn't be who I am now. I just love being ME!:) |
